Programs
Everyone is welcome to attend our regular community practice sessions free of charge:
- Weekday Morning Meditation: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Double-check our calendar to make sure it's happening.
- Tuesday Evening Meditation: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We offer meditation instruction free of charge every week at the beginning of our Tuesday evening sitting (7-8 PM). If you would like to receive meditation instruction, please arrive at the Center a few minutes before 7:00 PM and ask to receive meditation instruction.
- Tuesday Open House: 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Thursday Evening Meditation: 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
- On the Second and fourth Thursdays of the month, the Young Meditator's Group meets at 7:00 pm after meditation.
- Sunday Morning Community Practice (formerly called Nyinthun): 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm.
We offer free initial meditation instruction at 9:30 am and follow-up meditation instruction beginning at 10:15 am.
- Schedule:
- 9:30 - 10:15 AM: First Time Meditation Instruction (In the Auxiliary Shrine Room)
- 9:30 – 11:00 AM : Meditation (Main Shrine Room).
- 10:15 - 11:00 AM : Follow-Up Meditation Instruction ( in the Vajrayana Shrine Room)
- 11:00 – 11:30 AM : Teachings and Discussion (Main Shrine Room)
- 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM : Social Time with Refreshments
When there is not an event scheduled, there may be additional Sunday mediation practice held on the 2nd & 4th Sundays. Check our center calendar for when these extra practice times are offered.
