Greetings!

This merry month of May, the Dharma Arts Council of Portland Shambhala explores the teachings of the Second Dignity: Lion(Perky). We have already offered two Dharma Arts Talks on the 3rd  & 4th Tuesdays of this month following our Tues evening meditation session.  If you missed the talks, fear not!  You can hear them here:

Caitlin Bargenquast, a Shambhala member and Guide, volunteers with the Dharma Arts Council. She she trained in interdisciplinary arts and cultural activism, receiving her BFA in Performance from Naropa University.  She is a writer and dancer who completed the Shambhala Arts Training series in 2017.

This May will go out with a ROAR with our Lion Dharma Art Salon next Tuesday, May 30 @ 8pm, following our evening sit.

Caitlin Bargenquast will be our Lioness Hostess introducing performance offerings by Gardner Murphy, David Cook, Dan Reed Miller and Marc Otto.  She’ll also provide us the opportunity for various forms of feedback inspired by the ongoing development of a culture of awake kindness.

Also, this is a potluck!  Please bring a creative dish, fine snack, or libation of your choice to share, and enjoy an evening of performance, feasting and socializing!
