Our Community

We welcome everyone to join our community in whatever way feels best!

We are a diverse group and include the span from enthusiastic newcomers who are just discovering meditation to members who’ve been studying and practicing for decades.  We host programs, affinity groups and community celebrations throughout the year.

Affinity Groups

We support a rich array of Affinity Groups, which are initiated and hosted by members of the community.

  • Aging In Enlightened Society – Conversation, study and support around issues of aging
  • Queer Dharma – LGBTQI monthly gatherings including practice and talks
  • Drala Hikes – Contemplative community hikes open to all
  • Young Meditators – Weekly gathering for 40s and under with sitting meditation & Social Meditation practice (a meditative talking circle)
  • Bodhisattva Path Study Group – A twice-a-month gathering to read and discuss a book of the group’s choosing

If you are interested in initiating a group at the Center, reviving a group that is currently dormant, or would like more information about any of our groups please contact our Director of Societal Health and Well Being

Community members often organize informal study groups and community gatherings as well as these scheduled ones.
