Drala Meditation Hike: Tamanawas Falls in the Mt Hood Wilderness

    Please join us for a hike in the Mt Hood Wilderness to Tamanawas Falls. With scenic foot bridges and mossy-banked access to Cold Spring Creek this will be a delightful hike. We'll walk at a slow place and stop at several places along the way to sit and connect with our surroundings. We will stop briefly at Mt. Hood Organic Farms in Hood River Valley on the way home to enjoy their amazing farm and fall harvest sale of organic apples and pears.

    Hike Difficulty: Easy
    Distance: 3.8 miles with an elevation gain of 500 ft.
    What to Bring: Appropriate footwear, plenty of water, a light rain jacket (just in case), lunch, a hat, sunscreen, a pad or something to sit on, and gas money for the driver.

    Meeting Location: Portland Shambhala Center
    Return Time: About 5:00 PM
