Shambhala Dharma Arts Council warmly invites everyone to join us for the Spring Nyida Day Arts Festival 2017!

This year come experience an installation of the "Mandala of the Four Karmas" using the entire space of the Center.  In the tantric tradition the four karmas, or actions, are pacifying, enriching, magnetizing and destroying. These activites arise in our everyday experience and can manifest in either enlightened or neurotic ways.

Graduates of Shambhala Art Part V will be manifesting the energies of the karmas through creative expressions and offerings of food and drink within the environmental installation.

Everyone is also invited to attend the Graduation Ceremony to witness and celebrate this milestone on their Shambhala Art journey.

Please join us for this community celebration of the arts!

    Schedule (subject to slight shifts)

4-4:30 pm Installation opens, come join us!
4:30 pm    A walk/talk through with the creators of each of the Four Karmas rooms
5:30 pm   Graduation Ceremony and Celebration with food and beverages
6:30 pm   Dissolve the mandala, guests are invited to help!

Our community traditionally celebrates Nyida Days on or near equinoxes and solstices.  This name comes from the Tibetan words nyima (sun) and dawa (moon). Our celebration of the Spring Equinox is historically dedicated to the arts which enrich and wake us up.
