Community Practice Overview

Everyone is welcome to attend our regular community meditation times. Please note that occasionally, because of holidays or conflicts with another programs, there may be a change in the regular schedule — so it’s always good to check the calendar before you come.

We offer initial meditation instruction every week at the beginning of our Tuesday evening sitting (7pm) and our Sunday community practice (10:00am). If you would like to receive meditation instruction, please arrive at the Center a few minutes before practice is scheduled to begin and ask to receive instruction.

You are very welcome to come sit with whatever instruction you have received, or come to a community practice session to receive instruction in the Shambhala method of shamatha, calm-abiding meditation. If you have any questions, please email [email protected], or call (503) 231-4971.
