Holiday Gift Drives

The Portland Shambhala Center is taking part in two Holiday / Winter Gift Drives this year: with Human Solutions and SMYRC. We invite you to offer new items from each wishlist by dropping them in the collection boxes in the Center Office.

Human Solutions helps low-income and homeless families and individuals gain self-sufficiency with affordable housing, family support services, job readiness training, and economic development opportunities.

Human Solutions Wishlist:

Boys and Girls Socks, size 5-10. currently 110 kids in this age range and no socks yet for them in the holiday store.

Hoodies and Jackets, size 12-17. 20 would be the ideal number to collect

SMYRC : Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center honors, empowers, and supports LGBTQ youth to change the world. The Winter Backpack Drive is in support of homeless youth who utilize SMYRC, youth aged 12-24.

Hand Written Cards of Encouragement
